BODY recalls the shape of a human silhouette, in particular back and shoulders. The flowy and organic line of the backrest gives the chair shell a subtle, unique and distinct character, whether seen from the front, or form the back when stored under a table.

Made in ash wood, the several layers of moulded veneer give shape to a structure with smooth lines. The seat of this chair is slightly wider than most chairs, which makes it more spacious and comfortable. In short, a new basic, elegant, and minimalist chair that works in all types of interiors thanks to its universal and customisable character.

Sancal's first non upholstered chair offers a wide-ranging collection, from natural finish, to stained wood. The seat is nevertheless also available in upholstered version as well as a practical padded textile removable cover. 

BODY offers for versatility and choice thanks to its different leg options: from wood to metal, stackable and/or with castors; as well as the possibility of attaching metal armrests, which can be lacquered in all colours of Sancal's chart.
